Everybody from Complex, The Today Show, to the BBC, flipped the f*ck out – Snoop Dog was giving up “smoke?!” Even Stephen A. Smith had to take a moment to contemplate Uncle Snoop’s announcement. Turns out the Doggfather was just talking about his new Solo Stove smokeless fire pit.
The spot is one long take that builds suspense before revealing Snoop warming himself by the fire. The viral campaign earned 19.5 billion impressions and generated over $44 million in earned media value.
The campaign ignited a global conversation with extensive news and social media coverage. It went on to receive widespread recognition and critical acclaim in the industry.
